Guide
Convert an HTML file to PDF
Turn a saved .html page into a PDF when you have the file, not a live URL crawler.
How to convert HTML to PDF
This tool converts a file you provide. It is not a “enter any URL and we fetch the internet” service, which keeps your browsing off our servers.
A complete HTML export (for example from your browser’s Save As) works better than a fragment that points at remote CSS. External images blocked by the page will not appear.
Rendering uses browser capabilities such as html2canvas and jsPDF. Pages that rely on heavy JavaScript may look different once frozen.
- Save the page as an .html or .htm file on your computer if you do not already have one.
- Open HTML to PDF and add that file.
- Click Convert to PDF. The markup is rendered and captured into a PDF in the browser.
- Download and check fonts, images, and page breaks. Linked images that were only on a website may be missing if they were not in the file.
HTML file conversion
For a pixel-perfect print of a live site, use your browser’s Print to PDF, then bring that PDF here to merge or compress.
- Accepts .html and .htm files from your device.
- Does not fetch arbitrary websites on our servers.
- Best with self-contained HTML that includes styles.
- JavaScript-heavy apps may not snapshot perfectly.
- Runs locally in the tab.
Privacy for HTML conversion
Only the file you select is read. We do not spider the web for you.
HTML can contain personal data. Treat the download like the source page. See the Privacy Policy.
